Bredon Hill Academy, a middle deemed secondary school in scenic south Worcestershire, is seeking a mathematics teacher from September 2024.

Our unique setting allows our hard-working and courteous pupils to thrive; we believe in our whole school community living by our school motto of ‘Learning Together for Success’ and our values: Belief, Honesty and Aspiration. Our next mathematics teacher will be joining a committed team of staff, who are passionate about the subject and its importance in our pupils’ lives.

We have pupils in Years 6-8, meaning teaching will be across Key Stages Two and Three, helping prepare future mathematicians for their high school studies. Bredon Hill Academy prides itself on teacher retention, with conscientious approaches to reducing workload for all staff and ensuring CPD is effective and supportive to develop career progression.

Applications from ECTs are welcomed and are well supported through our close links with Prince Henry’s Teaching School, part of Ambition Institute.

We would consider part-time for the right candidate. Opportunities to see our fantastic school in action are most welcomed – please contact the school for further information via this link. Early applications are encouraged and we reserve the right to bring the interview date forward should the need arise.

Bredon Hill Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to recognise and share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and criminal background check via the disclosure procedures and obtain medical clearance.
